From Kayanza town center, head to the main bus station, which is located near the market area. Look for buses heading towards Bujumbura or Kinyinya. Purchase a ticket for Kinyinya, which is the closest town to Rusizi National Park. The bus ride will take approximately 1-2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kinyinya, you can ask locals for directions to the park entrance.

Once you arrive in Kinyinya, the entrance to Rusizi National Park is about a 30-minute walk from the town center. Head southwest on R.N.4 road. Look for the signposts indicating the direction to Rusizi National Park. Continue straight until you reach the park entrance, which will be marked with signage.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kayanza. After renting, take the R.N.4 road heading southwest. The ride to Rusizi National Park will take around 15-20 minutes. Follow the signs to the park entrance.
