From the main entrance of Kibira National Park, drive towards the south on the main road leading out of the park. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Take a left turn at the junction towards Kiryama. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you towards Pont sur la Ruvubu. Follow these signs for another 2 kilometers until you reach the bridge located at MX2M+3V5 Rurubu, Kiryama. Make sure your vehicle is in good condition as some parts of the road may be rough.

To reach Pont sur la Ruvubu using public transportation, you must first take a local bus from the nearest bus station in Bujumbura to Kiryama. The bus ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kiryama, you can hire a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to Pont sur la Ruvubu for a small fee, typically around 2,000 BIF.
