Walking
From the center of Kirundo, head south towards Avenue du 1er Novembre. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Paix. Turn left onto Avenue de la Paix and walk for another 1 kilometer. You will see a bus station on your right. Cross the street and continue south along Rue de l'Indépendance for about 800 meters. The Nyamata Genocide Memorial Site will be on your left, just past the V32R+C9R address.

Bicycle
Start from the Kirundo Town Hall and head south on Avenue du 1er Novembre. Keep pedaling straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach Avenue de la Paix. Turn left and cycle for about 1 kilometer. There will be a bus station on your right side. After passing the bus station, continue south on Rue de l'Indépendance for 800 meters. The Nyamata Genocide Memorial Site will be on your left, right after the V32R+C9R address.

From Kirundo, head to the nearest bus station, which is located on Avenue du 1er Novembre. Take a bus heading towards Nyamata. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at the Nyamata stop. Once you get off the bus, walk back towards the direction of the bus you came from for about 200 meters. The Nyamata Genocide Memorial Site will be located on your left at the V32R+C9R address.
