Car
If you are driving from central Makamba, head northwest on Avenue de l'Indépendance towards Avenue de la Réunification. Continue on this road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with RN3. Turn right onto RN3 and follow the signs to Bujumbura. After about 50 kilometers, you will enter Bujumbura. Once in Bujumbura, continue on Boulevard Melchior Ndadaye. Visit Burundi is located at J9Q5+CXR Boulevard Melchior Ndadaye 72, Immeuble Peace Corner Bureau C8. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Visit Burundi via public transport, start at the main bus station in Makamba. Take a bus heading to Bujumbura. The fare is approximately 3,000 BIF (Burundian Francs). The journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Bujumbura bus station, take a motorcycle taxi (known locally as 'boda-boda') to Boulevard Melchior Ndadaye. The fare for the motorcycle taxi should be around 1,500 BIF. Ask the driver to take you to Immeuble Peace Corner, where Visit Burundi is located.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Makamba to Bujumbura. The taxi fare will be around 30,000 BIF. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once in Bujumbura, the taxi can drop you off directly at Visit Burundi, located at J9Q5+CXR Boulevard Melchior Ndadaye 72, Immeuble Peace Corner Bureau C8.
