From Mugamba, head northwest on Avenue de la République towards the RN3 road. Continue on RN3 for about 15 km until you reach the junction with the road leading to Bururi. Take the left turn onto the road towards Bururi. Continue for approximately 10 km until you reach Burunga. The entrance to Bururi Forest Nature Reserve will be marked along the route. Make sure to have some cash on hand as there may be entrance fees to the Nature Reserve.
