From the main town of São Filipe, head south on the EN1-Fogo road. Continue until you reach the southern coast of Fogo Island. You will need to drive to the village of Ponta Verde. Once in Ponta Verde, you will need to park your car. The last leg involves a boat ride to Ilhéu Branco, which is about 10 minutes away from Ponta Verde. Be sure to ask locals for the nearest boat rental service as there are no formal docks.
