If you are driving to Mar Tranquilidade, start from the main town of São Filipe. Head north on the EN1-FG road in the direction of Mosteiros. After approximately 30 km, turn onto the road towards Tarrafal de Monte Trigo. Continue on this road for about 12 km until you reach Tarrafal de Monte Trigo. Once in the town, follow the signs leading to Santo Antão, and after a short drive, you'll find Mar Tranquilidade on your left. Make sure to keep your GPS handy for the exact location: Latitude 16.953579, Longitude -25.309044. Parking is available near the guest house.

For those opting for public transportation, start by taking a 'aluguer' (shared taxi) from São Filipe to Mosteiros. The fare is approximately 100 CVE. Upon reaching Tarrafal, you may need to walk about 1 km to Mar Tranquilidade. Look for signs or ask locals for directions to Santo Antão, where the guest house is located.
