To reach Pico da Antónia by car, start from the capital city, São Filipe. Drive southeast on the main road (EN1-Fogo) towards the village of Cova Figueira. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Cova Figueira, follow the signs towards the Pico da Antónia trailhead. The road may become unpaved, so be prepared for a bumpy ride. Parking is available at the trailhead. Ensure that you have a map or GPS as cell service may be limited.

Public Transportation
From São Filipe, take a 'transport' (shared taxi) to Cova Figueira. The fare is usually around 200 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo) per person. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Cova Figueira, you can either hike to the Pico da Antónia trailhead (approximately a 1-hour walk) or arrange a local taxi to take you directly to the trailhead for about 500 CVE. Be sure to return to Cova Figueira for your return journey to São Filipe.
