Getting There

Walking

From the Powell Street BART station, walk west on Market Street for approximately 0.5 miles. Turn right onto Grove Street and walk two blocks to reach Civic Center Plaza and City Hall. This walk is mostly flat and takes about 10-15 minutes.
Public Transport

From the Transbay Terminal, take any Muni Metro line (J, K, L, M, N, T) to the Civic Center/UN Plaza station. Exit the station and walk west, or take Muni Bus Lines 5, 6, 9, 21, or 47 which stop within a few blocks of the Civic Center. A single Muni fare is $3.00, or use a Clipper card for discounted fares.
Taxi/Ride-share

From Union Square, a taxi or ride-share to Civic Center will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around $15-25 for the ride.

From the East Bay, take I-80 West across the Bay Bridge. Take the 9th Street/Civic Center exit. Turn left onto Harrison Street, then right onto 9th Street.
