Once you're in San Francisco, take the exit for Embarcadero and merge onto Embarcadero. Continue on Embarcadero until you reach Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and then right onto Columbus Avenue. Finally, turn left onto Filbert Street. You’ll find parking options along the street or nearby parking garages. The Filbert Steps will be on your left at 202 Filbert St.

To reach Filbert Steps using public transit, locate the nearest BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station and take a train towards San Francisco. Get off at the Montgomery St. station. From there, you can transfer to the Muni bus line. Take the 8 or 30 bus towards Bayview or Marina, disembarking at the stop at Columbus Ave & Filbert St. From the bus stop, walk down Filbert Street and you will arrive at the Filbert Steps at 202 Filbert St.
