Getting There

• Ferry

  To reach Waldo Point Harbor in Sausalito, start at the Ferry Building Marketplace located at 1 Ferry Building, San Francisco, CA 94111. From there, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Sausalito. The ferry ride offers stunning views of the Bay and takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sausalito Ferry Terminal, exit the ferry and walk straight along Bridgeway until you reach the intersection with Gate 5 Road. Turn right on Gate 5 Road, and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach Waldo Point Harbor at 1 Gate 5 Rd C.

• Public Transit (Bus)

  From Union Square, walk to the Powell St BART station and take the BART train to Embarcadero Station. Once at Embarcadero, transfer to the Muni bus line 30 to Sausalito. After approximately 30 minutes on the bus, get off at the Sausalito bus stop. From there, walk along Bridgeway until you reach Gate 5 Road. Turn right on Gate 5 Road, and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you arrive at Waldo Point Harbor at 1 Gate 5 Rd C.

• Bike Rental

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in San Francisco, such as Bay City Bike or Golden Gate Bridge Bike Rentals. From Fisherman's Wharf, cycle across the Golden Gate Bridge. Once you arrive in Sausalito, follow the signs to the waterfront, and head towards Bridgeway. Continue on Bridgeway until you reach Gate 5 Road. Turn right on Gate 5 Road and bike for about 0.5 miles to reach Waldo Point Harbor at 1 Gate 5 Rd C.
