Walk 3 blocks south on 2nd St, then turn left onto Washington St. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Chinatown.
BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
Head to the Downtown Berkeley BART station located at 2160 Shattuck Ave. Take the Richmond-bound train and travel for about 20 minutes. Get off at the Embarcadero station in San Francisco. When you exit the station, walk towards the waterfront and then take the Muni bus 8, 10, or 12 towards Chinatown. After about 10 minutes on the bus, get off at the 'Kearny St & Clay St' stop. Walk a block to reach the entrance of Chinatown.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Berkeley. Start by heading south on Shattuck Ave towards the Bay Bridge. Continue following the bike path that leads to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Cross the bridge using the bike lane; this will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon reaching San Francisco, follow the signs to Chinatown, which is about a 10-minute ride from the bridge entrance.

If you are near the UC Berkeley campus, start walking down Telegraph Ave towards downtown. Continue on Telegraph until you reach the intersection with Shattuck Ave. Turn right onto Shattuck and walk straight until you reach the bus terminal.
