Bus
From downtown Berkeley, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the AC Transit bus 51B towards San Francisco. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Marina Blvd & Baker Beach'. From there, walk towards the Golden Gate Promenade, which is about a 15-minute walk along the waterfront.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Berkeley. Head towards the Bay Trail which connects to the Golden Gate Promenade. The ride will take about 45 minutes, and you'll enjoy beautiful views of the bay along the way.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route. Start from UC Berkeley and walk west towards the Berkeley Marina. Continue along the shoreline and follow the paths leading to the Golden Gate Bridge area. This is a long walk (about 2 hours), so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
Train and Bus
Take the BART train from downtown Berkeley to the Embarcadero station in San Francisco. From Embarcadero, transfer to Muni bus 43 towards Bayview-Hunters Point and get off at 'Lombard St & Yacht Rd'. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to the Crissy Field Marsh along the waterfront.
