From downtown Berkeley, walk to the Downtown Berkeley BART station located at 2170 Shattuck Ave. Purchase a ticket to the Civic Center/UN Plaza station. Board the Richmond-bound BART train. After approximately 20 minutes, disembark at the Civic Center/UN Plaza station. Once you exit the station, walk east on Market St for about 5 minutes until you reach the Orpheum Theatre at 1192 Market St.

Catch the AC Transit bus line 7 or 18 from any bus stop along Shattuck Ave or Telegraph Ave heading towards San Francisco. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 7th St and Market St. From there, walk 2 blocks east along Market St for about 5 minutes to arrive at the Orpheum Theatre located at 1192 Market St.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Berkeley. Head south on Shattuck Ave towards the bridge, then cross over to the city of San Francisco via the bike lanes. After crossing the bridge, follow the bike route signs towards Market St. It’s about a 40-minute ride. The Orpheum Theatre is located at 1192 Market St, easily visible from the main road.

If you are feeling adventurous and up for a long walk, start from the Berkeley campus or downtown area and head south on Shattuck Ave. Continue onto Telegraph Ave and then take a left onto 16th St. Walk straight until you reach the Embarcadero, then follow the waterfront to the Ferry Building. From there, you can take a quick walk to Market St and continue to the Orpheum Theatre at 1192 Market St. This walk will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
