Bus
To get to Powell St & Geary St in San Francisco from Berkeley, you can take the AC Transit bus. Start by walking to the nearest bus stop for AC Transit at either University Ave & Shattuck Ave or any nearby stop. Board the 1, 1R, or 6 bus heading towards San Francisco. Stay on the bus until you reach the Transbay Terminal in San Francisco. From the Transbay Terminal, it's a short walk: exit the terminal and head west on Howard St towards Beale St, then turn right onto Beale St and walk north until you reach Market St. Turn left onto Market St and walk until you reach the intersection of Powell St & Geary St.
BART
To reach Powell St & Geary St using BART, walk to the nearest BART station in Berkeley (Downtown Berkeley Station is recommended). Purchase a ticket to Powell St Station in San Francisco. Board a train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at Powell St Station. Once you exit the station, walk east on Powell St for a couple of blocks until you reach the intersection of Powell St & Geary St.
Bike
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bike from a local bike rental shop in Berkeley. Head south towards the Bay Trail and follow the path that leads to the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Once you reach the bridge, follow the designated bike lane across the bridge into San Francisco. After crossing, continue straight until you reach the Embarcadero. Turn onto Market St and bike west until you arrive at Powell St & Geary St.
Walking
