Walking
From the Big Sur River Inn, head south on CA-1 toward Kirk Creek Campground. After approximately 2.5 miles, you will see a sign for Kirk Creek Campground on your left. Follow the path leading into the campground, which is located right off the highway.

Biking
Start at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. From the park entrance, bike south on CA-1. After about 5 miles, look for signs indicating Kirk Creek Campground on your left. The campground entrance is just off the highway, and you can park your bike at the designated bike racks.

Public Transport + Walking
Take the Monterey-Salinas Transit Line 22 bus from Carmel-by-the-Sea to the Big Sur area. Get off at the Big Sur post office stop. From there, walk south along CA-1 for about 1.5 miles until you reach Kirk Creek Campground, which will be on your left.
