Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Monterey Bay Aquarium, exit and head northwest along Cannery Row. Continue along the waterfront on the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreation Trail towards Pacific Grove. After approximately a 20-minute walk (1 mile), you will arrive at Lovers Point Park. No costs involved.

  • Public Transport

    Take the MST (Monterey-Salinas Transit) bus service. Board the MST bus line 1 or 2 at the nearest stop. Ask the driver to let you know when to get off for Lovers Point Park. The stop is near the intersection of Ocean View Blvd and 17th St. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of the park on Ocean View Blvd. Single ride fares are around $2-3.

  • Driving

    From Highway 1, take the Del Monte Avenue exit towards Monterey. Follow Del Monte Avenue to Foam Street, then turn left onto Foam Street. Continue onto Cannery Row, then turn left onto David Avenue. Turn right onto Ocean View Boulevard. Lovers Point Park will be on your right. Free parking is available in two small lots and along Ocean View Boulevard, but it is limited to two hours between 9 AM and 6 PM.
