    Getting There

    Public Transit

    From Castro Valley, walk to the Castro Valley BART station located at 3301 Castro Valley Blvd. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Stay on the train for about 30 minutes until you reach the Embarcadero station. Once you arrive at Embarcadero, exit the station and transfer to the Muni F-Line streetcar. Board the F-Line streetcar towards Fisherman's Wharf. After a short ride, get off at the 'Washington St & Mason St' stop. From there, walk north on Mason Street until you reach the base of Telegraph Hill. Follow the signs to Coit Tower, which is about a 15-minute uphill walk. Enjoy the beautiful views along the way!

    If you are already in the downtown Castro Valley area, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the AC Transit Bus Line 39 towards Hayward BART. Once you arrive at the Hayward BART station, board a BART train heading to San Francisco/Daly City. Alight at the Embarcadero stop. From there, transfer to the Muni F-Line streetcar towards Fisherman's Wharf and disembark at 'Washington St & Mason St'. Finally, walk north on Mason Street and ascend the hill to reach Coit Tower.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft. Open the app and enter 'Coit Tower, 1 Telegraph Hill Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94133' as your destination.
