If you are staying near Lodgepole or have hiked in from another area, you can take the Redwood Mountain trail. Start at the Lodgepole Campground and hike approximately 2.5 miles on the marked trail. Follow the signs for General Grant Grove, and you will arrive at the grove entrance to experience the giant sequoias.
