    To reach Sutter's Fort State Historic Park from anywhere in Central Coast, start by getting onto US-101 North. Continue on US-101 N and merge onto I-5 North toward Stockton. Follow I-5 N for about 90 miles until you reach the exit for CA-99 N toward Sacramento. Take CA-99 N for approximately 75 miles. Once in Sacramento, take the exit for J Street and turn right onto J Street. Then, turn left onto 27th Street and finally turn right onto L Street. The park will be on your right at 2701 L St, Sacramento, CA 95816. Parking is available nearby, and may incur a fee depending on the lot you choose.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from various locations in Central Coast to the Sacramento Greyhound station. Once you arrive at the Greyhound station, you can take the Sacramento Regional Transit light rail or a local bus. For light rail, board the Blue Line toward Watt/I-80 and get off at the 7th & Capitol Station. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Sutter's Fort.
