    To reach Playas de Tijuana from downtown Chula Vista, start by heading to the Chula Vista Transit Center located at 901 Bay Blvd, Chula Vista, CA 91911. From the transit center, board the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus route 704 towards the Otay Mesa Transit Center. The bus will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Otay Mesa' stop. Once at Otay Mesa, you will need to walk to the border crossing, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs to the pedestrian crossing into Tijuana. After crossing the border, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Playas de Tijuana, which is about 15 minutes away by taxi. The taxi will take you directly to Playas Coronado.
