    To reach Laguna Beach from Costa Mesa using public transportation, start by walking to the nearest bus stop. Look for the OCTA bus service, specifically Line 1, which runs from Costa Mesa to Laguna Beach. Board the bus at the designated stop, making sure to check the schedule for arrival times. The bus will take you directly to Laguna Beach. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Laguna Beach, you can follow the signs to the beach area or explore the local shops and restaurants nearby.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Costa Mesa. Start by heading towards Pacific Coast Highway (PCH), which is around 3 miles away from central Costa Mesa. Follow the bike lanes on Baker Street or 19th Street to reach PCH. Once on PCH, turn south and continue riding straight for about 5 miles. You will pass through some beautiful coastal views, and finally arrive at Laguna Beach. The beach area has bike racks where you can secure your bike while you explore.

  • Walking

    Walking to Laguna Beach from Costa Mesa is quite a trek, approximately 6 miles. Start at the south side of Costa Mesa and walk towards Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). You can take Fairview Road south until you reach PCH. Once you arrive at PCH, turn south and continue walking along the sidewalk. Enjoy the scenic views of the coastline as you make your way to Laguna Beach. This walk will take you about 2-3 hours, so be prepared with water and sun protection.
