    From Daly City, walk to the Daly City BART station located at 1001 Bahnhof St, Daly City, CA 94014. Take the BART train towards San Francisco and get off at the Embarcadero station. Once there, transfer to the Muni bus line 8 or 8X towards Bayview Hunters Point. Get off at the stop at Embarcadero & Bay St. From there, it's a short walk to Pier 33, where you can catch a ferry to Alcatraz Island.

    From anywhere in Daly City, make your way to the nearest bus stop for SamTrans route 120 or 130.
