From Daly City, walk to the nearest bus stop for SamTrans bus line 120 or 130. Board the bus heading towards San Francisco. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Civic Center' stop. From there, transfer to the Muni Metro subway at the Civic Center station. Take the subway towards the Embarcadero and get off at the Montgomery St. station. Exit the station and walk two blocks west along Market St., and you will arrive at Mechanics Monument located at 488 Market St.

Walk to the Daly City BART station, which is located at 1111 Hillside Blvd. Purchase a ticket to the Montgomery St. BART station in San Francisco. Board the train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 15 minutes, you will arrive at Montgomery St. station. Exit the station, and walk two blocks west along Market St., where you will find Mechanics Monument at 488 Market St.
