From Hayward, head to the Hayward BART Station located at 699 B St, Hayward, CA 94541. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 40 minutes, disembark at the Civic Center/UN Plaza station. From there, transfer to the Muni bus. Catch the 21 bus towards Golden Gate Park, and ride for about 15 stops until you reach the stop at Hayes St & Fillmore St. Alamo Square Park will be a short walk from the bus stop, located at Hayes St, San Francisco, CA 94117.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, start from Hayward and head towards the Bay Trail. Follow the trail north along the bay for a scenic route. This will take you approximately 12 miles to the Embarcadero area in San Francisco. Once you reach Embarcadero, navigate towards Market Street and take a left on Market. Continue until you reach Fillmore Street, then turn right. Alamo Square Park will be on your left at Hayes St.
