BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
From any location in Hayward, walk to the Hayward BART Station located at 699 B St, Hayward, CA 94541. Once there, purchase a ticket to the 'Embarcadero' station in San Francisco. Board the train and enjoy the ride, which typically takes about 25 minutes. Once you arrive at the Embarcadero station, transfer to the Muni Metro (N-Judah line) towards 'California & 6th' and ride it to the 'Civic Center' station. From Civic Center, transfer to the Muni Metro (N-Judah line) towards 'Ocean Beach' and disembark at 'Golden Gate Park'. Follow the signs to the park entrance.
Bus
Locate the nearest AC Transit bus stop in Hayward. Take AC Transit Bus Line 46 towards 'San Francisco' and ride it until you reach the 'Fremont BART Station'. From there, board the BART train towards 'Embarcadero' and ride until you reach the Embarcadero station. Then, transfer to Muni Metro (N-Judah line) towards 'California & 6th' and get off at 'Civic Center'. Finally, switch to the Muni Metro (N-Judah line) towards 'Ocean Beach' and get off at 'Golden Gate Park'.
Walking and Muni
If you are near the Hayward BART Station, walk to the station and board a train towards San Francisco. Ride until you reach the 'Embarcadero' station. Once you arrive, transfer to Muni Metro (N-Judah line) towards 'California & 6th' and ride to 'Civic Center'. From there, switch to the Muni Metro (N-Judah line) towards 'Ocean Beach' and disembark at 'Golden Gate Park'. Follow the signs to enter the park.
