From Huntington Beach, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Metro Bus Line 1 towards Long Beach. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and 7th Avenue. Transfer to the Torrance Transit Line 4 towards the Torrance Transit Center. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop for Palos Verdes Drive West. From there, it's a short 15-minute walk along Palos Verdes Drive West to reach the Point Vicente Lighthouse at 31550 Palos Verdes Dr W.

Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Huntington Beach. Start your ride heading south on the beach bike path. Continue along the coast until you reach the intersection with Pacific Coast Highway. Turn left onto Pacific Coast Highway and follow it south for about 10 miles. Once you reach the Palos Verdes area, turn onto Palos Verdes Drive West and bike for another 3 miles until you arrive at the Point Vicente Lighthouse at 31550 Palos Verdes Dr W.

If you feel adventurous and are up for a long walk, start at the Huntington Beach Pier. Walk south along the beach path to the end of the pier, then continue along Pacific Coast Highway, which will eventually take you towards Rancho Palos Verdes. This is a long journey of about 12 miles, so ensure you carry enough water and snacks. Once you reach Palos Verdes Drive West, walk for another 1.5 miles to reach the Point Vicente Lighthouse at 31550 Palos Verdes Dr W.
