From any point in Irvine, head to the nearest bus stop on the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) route. You can take the 'Route 79' bus toward Chino Hills. Ensure you board the bus that has 'Chino Hills' as its destination. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach the Chino Hills Transit Center, you will need to transfer to 'Route 60'. After boarding the 'Route 60' bus, request a stop at 'Fairfield Ranch Rd'. The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are staying in the nearby area, you can walk to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. From the nearest OCTA bus stop, head east on Fairfield Ranch Rd. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles, and you will see the temple on your left. The walk should take around 10-15 minutes.

If you prefer biking, check if your accommodation offers bike rentals. You can ride from central Irvine to BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. Start by heading north on Main St, then take a left on Barranca Parkway and continue until you reach the intersection with Fairfield Ranch Rd. Turn right onto Fairfield Ranch Rd and follow it for about 4 miles. The temple will be on your right. The bike ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your speed.
