    Make your way to the Irvine Transportation Center. Board the Metrolink train on the Orange County Line heading towards San Juan Capistrano. The train ride lasts about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the San Juan Capistrano station, exit and walk approximately 15 minutes south on Camino Capistrano, then turn left onto Old Mission Rd to reach Mission San Juan Capistrano.

    If you are located nearby in the downtown area of Irvine, you can walk towards Mission San Juan Capistrano. Head southwest on Main St towards the intersection with Alton Pkwy. Continue straight, crossing over the I-5 freeway using the pedestrian bridge. Follow Alton Pkwy until it merges into Camino Capistrano and leads you to Old Mission Rd where the mission is located. This walk is about 2.5 miles and will take around 50 minutes.
