Walking
From Joshua Tree's downtown area, start at the corner of Highway 62 and Park Boulevard. Head south on Park Boulevard. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several local shops and cafes on your left and right. Keep an eye out for the large, brown park signs that indicate the direction to Joshua Tree Visitor Center. The center will be on your right at 6554 Park Blvd.

If you have a bike, start at the Joshua Tree Coffee Company located at 61740 29 Palms Hwy. From there, ride east on the highway for about 0.2 miles before turning south onto Park Boulevard. Continue for 0.5 miles. You will see the Joshua Tree Visitor Center on your right-hand side at 6554 Park Blvd.
