From La Jolla Village, walk to the nearest bus stop at La Jolla Village Drive & Torrey Pines Road. Board the Bus 30 heading towards Downtown San Diego. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes, then get off at the Del Mar Heights Road stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk down Del Mar Heights Road to reach the beautiful beaches and attractions of Del Mar.

Rent a bike from one of the local rentals in La Jolla. Start your ride on La Jolla Shores Drive heading north. Continue until you reach the intersection with Camino del Mar, where you will turn right. Follow Camino del Mar for approximately 4 miles, enjoying the scenic coastal views until you reach Del Mar. Park your bike at any of the bike racks available along the main strip.

If you are feeling adventurous, you can walk to Del Mar from La Jolla. Start at the La Jolla Cove and head north along the coast on the pedestrian path. Follow the coastline for about 2 miles until you reach the end of the path. At the end, turn right on Camino del Mar and continue walking for another mile until you reach the heart of Del Mar. This will take approximately 1 hour, but the views are stunning!
