Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of South Lake Tahoe. Head north on US-50 E for about 3 miles, then merge onto CA-89 N toward Tahoma. Continue on CA-89 N for approximately 12 miles until you reach Tahoma. Look for signs directing you to the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion, which will be located within Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park. Turn left onto the park entrance road, and follow it to reach the mansion. Note that there may be a parking fee for the state park.

To reach Hellman-Ehrman Mansion using public transportation, take the Tahoe Area Regional Transit (TART) bus from South Lake Tahoe. Board the bus heading towards Tahoma.
