Getting There

  • Car

    To reach Skunk Harbor by car, start from South Lake Tahoe. Head northeast on US-50 E. Continue for about 8 miles until you reach the junction with NV-207 (Kingsbury Grade). Turn left onto NV-207 and follow it for approximately 6 miles. At the end of NV-207, turn right onto US-50 E again. After about 1 mile, take the exit toward Glenbrook. Follow the signs to Glenbrook, and then continue towards Skunk Harbor. Note that the road may be narrow and winding as you approach the harbor. There is limited parking available, and a small fee may be charged for parking.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, take the BlueGo bus from South Lake Tahoe. Board the bus at the Stateline Transit Center and travel to the Glenbrook stop. The journey takes about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic and the time of day. Once you arrive at Glenbrook, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to Skunk Harbor.
