Continue on CA-89 for about 2 miles until you see the signs for Pope Beach. Turn left into the parking area. Note that there is a parking fee of approximately $10 per vehicle, and it is advisable to have cash for the payment.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking the BlueGo public transit service, which operates in the Lake Tahoe area. Look for a bus route that goes towards South Lake Tahoe.
