Ferry
To reach IMMERSED located at Island Tour Plaza, 209 Catalina Ave in Avalon, CA, you will first need to take a ferry from Long Beach to Avalon. Head to the Long Beach Ferry Terminal located at 3800 E. Ocean Blvd. You can reach the terminal by taking the Metro Blue Line to the Long Beach Transit Mall, then transfer to the Passport bus (Line D) which goes to the ferry terminal. Once at the terminal, purchase a round-trip ticket to Avalon. The ferry ride will take approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival in Avalon, you will be at the main dock. From there, IMMERSED is a short 10-minute walk. Exit the dock area, head left onto Crescent Ave, and then turn right onto Catalina Ave. Continue walking until you reach Island Tour Plaza.

Public Bus
If you prefer to take public transportation, you can start by taking a bus from Long Beach to the San Pedro Port. From any point in Long Beach, you can catch the Long Beach Transit bus Line 111 to the San Pedro area. Once you arrive at the San Pedro Transit Center, transfer to the Catalina Express bus that will take you directly to the ferry terminal in San Pedro. After purchasing your ferry ticket to Avalon, board the ferry which will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Avalon, walk from the ferry terminal to Island Tour Plaza by turning left onto Crescent Ave and then right onto Catalina Ave.

Another option is to use a ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft to get to the Long Beach Ferry Terminal. Simply request a ride to 3800 E. Ocean Blvd. After arriving at the terminal, purchase your ferry ticket to Avalon. Once on the ferry, enjoy the scenic ride that lasts about 1 hour. When you disembark in Avalon, walk left onto Crescent Ave and then right onto Catalina Ave to reach IMMERSED at Island Tour Plaza.
