Start from Malibu Pier, located at 23000 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265. Walk west along the Pacific Coast Highway (CA-1) sidewalk for about 3.5 miles. You will pass by several notable spots, including the Malibu Seafood Fresh Fish Market on your right. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to Nicholas Canyon Beach, which will be on your left at 33850 CA-1. Look for the beach access signs.

From the Malibu Town Center, take the Metro Bus Line 534 towards the 'Pacific Coast Hwy & Cross Creek Rd' stop. Ride for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the 'Pacific Coast Hwy & Nicholas Canyon Beach' stop. After getting off, walk about 5 minutes down the road to the beach entrance, which will be on your left at 33850 CA-1.

If you have access to a bike, you can start from the Malibu Lagoon State Beach. Head west on the bike path along the Pacific Coast Highway.
