Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Mammoth Lakes, head east on Main Street. Continue straight as Main Street becomes Lake Mary Road. Follow Lake Mary Road for approximately 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Lk George Road. Turn left onto Lk George Road. You will find the Crystal Lake Trailhead parking area about 1 mile down this road on your right. There is no parking fee, but be cautious of potential road conditions during certain seasons.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer using public transportation, take the Mammoth Mountain Shuttles. Board the shuttle at any of the designated stops in Mammoth Lakes. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule for the latest routes. You will want to get off at the stop closest to Lake Mary Road. From there, it is a 1-mile walk to the trailhead along Lk George Road. Please note that the shuttle may charge a fare, generally around $5 for a one-way trip.
