Getting There

Car

From Mammoth Lakes, head south on Main Street (CA-203) towards Minaret Road. Continue straight until you reach Minaret Road and turn left. Follow Minaret Road until it merges with Lake Mary Road. Continue on Lake Mary Road until you see the signs for Devils Postpile Road. Turn left onto Devils Postpile Road and follow it until you reach the entrance of Devils Postpile National Monument. Please note that there is a parking fee of approximately $10 for a day pass. Make sure to have cash or a debit/credit card ready.
Public Transportation

If you're using public transportation, you can catch the Eastern Sierra Transit Authority (ESTA) bus from various points in Mammoth Lakes. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for the 'Mammoth to Reds Meadow' route, which runs during the summer months. The bus will take you directly to the Reds Meadow area, from where it is a short walk to the entrance of Devils Postpile National Monument. The cost for the bus ride is approximately $8 one way.
