Starting from downtown Martinez at Main Street and Escobar Street, head east on Escobar Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Marina Vista Avenue. Turn left onto Marina Vista Avenue and continue walking for another 0.3 miles. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Alhambra Avenue (CA-4). After about 0.2 miles, you will see the entrance to the Cal Riding & Hiking Trail on your right. Follow the trail signs toward Nejedly Staging Area, which is approximately a 0.6 mile walk from the entrance.
