From the Milpitas Transit Center, take the VTA Light Rail (Blue Line) towards Santa Teresa. Transfer at the Great Mall/Main Station to the VTA Bus Line 66 towards the Milpitas Library. Get off at the stop near Downing Rd and S Abel St. Walk south on Downing Rd for about 0.5 miles to reach Sandy Wool Lake. A single VTA bus fare is $2.50.
