From I-680 or I-880, take the Calaveras Blvd exit in Milpitas. Drive east towards the foothills, where Calaveras Blvd becomes Calaveras Rd. Turn left onto Downing Rd to enter Ed R. Levin County Park. Continue on Downing Rd to the parking area near Sandy Wool Lake and the dog park, which is close to the Tularcitos Trailhead. Parking fee is $6 per vehicle.

From the Milpitas Transit Center, take VTA Bus Route 46 or 47 towards Ed Levin Park. Get off at the Park Victoria & Daniel stop, which is approximately a 25-minute walk (about 2 miles) to the Tularcitos Trailhead within Ed R. Levin County Park. From the bus stop, walk east on Calaveras Road, then turn left onto Downing Road to enter the park. Follow Downing Road to the parking area near Sandy Wool Lake and the dog park. A single VTA bus fare is $2.50.
