From Highway 1, take the San Andreas Road exit. Proceed south on San Andreas Road until you reach Sunset Beach Road. Turn west (towards the ocean) onto Sunset Beach Road and follow it to the park entrance. Parking is available in several lots within the park, including near the entrance, Dunes Camp, South Camp, and the Lower Ramada Picnic Area. Parking costs $10 for the day. Be aware that parking lots can fill up quickly during peak season.
