Walking
From Capitola Village, the museum is a short walk along Capitola Avenue. Look for the little red building next to Capitola City Hall. It's easily accessible from most points in the village. Limited street parking is available, so consider parking in the Beach and Village Parking Lots and walking a few blocks. Parking costs $2 per hour in the Village.
Public Transport
If arriving by public transport from Santa Cruz, take Santa Cruz METRO Route 66 to the Capitola Mall, then transfer to Route 55. Get off near Capitola Village and walk a few blocks to Capitola Avenue. A single ride on Santa Cruz METRO costs $2.50.
Driving
From Highway 1, take the Capitola/Soquel exit and follow Capitola Road towards the coast. Turn onto Capitola Avenue. Parking in Capitola Village is limited to 2-3 hours and costs $2 per hour. Longer-term parking (up to 12 hours) is available in the Beach and Village Parking Lots for $1 per hour. A free shuttle operates from the Beach and Village Parking Lot 2 (Lower) to the Village on weekends and holidays during the summer.
