If arriving via public transport from Santa Cruz, take Santa Cruz Metro Route 1 to the Soquel Dr & Daubenbiss Ave stop. From there, walk south on Daubenbiss Ave, then turn left onto Capitola Ave. Continue down Capitola Ave into Capitola Village. The beach is directly accessible from the Esplanade. A single ride on Santa Cruz Metro costs $2-$7.

For those driving, navigate towards Capitola Village. Be aware that parking in the immediate village area is limited to 2-3 hours and costs $2.00 per hour. For longer stays, utilize the Beach and Village Parking Lots 1 & 2 (Upper and Lower), accessible from Capitola Avenue, Bay Avenue, and Monterey Avenue. Parking in these lots costs $1.00 per hour, up to a maximum of 12 hours. A free summer shuttle operates from the lower lot to the village on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day weekend through mid-September.
