From there, walk south on Daubenbiss Ave, then turn left onto Capitola Ave. Continue down Capitola Ave into Capitola Village. The beach is directly accessible from the Esplanade. A single ride on Santa Cruz Metro costs $2-$7.

For those driving, navigate towards Capitola Village. Be aware that parking in the immediate village area is limited to 2-3 hours and costs $2.00 per hour. For longer stays, utilize the Beach and Village Parking Lots 1 & 2 (Upper and Lower), accessible from Capitola Avenue, Bay Avenue, and Monterey Avenue. Parking in these lots costs $1.00 per hour, up to a maximum of 12 hours. A free summer shuttle operates from the lower lot to the village on weekends and holidays from Memorial Day weekend through mid-September.
