Walking
From Capitola Village, walk south towards the beach. The wharf is directly accessible from the beach area, a short stroll from most village shops and restaurants. Look for the iconic Venetian Court condos as a landmark. The walk is generally flat and takes only a few minutes.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus from Santa Cruz, take Santa Cruz Metro Route 2 or 3 to the Capitola Village. From the bus stop, walk towards the beach and the wharf will be visible. A single ride on the Santa Cruz Metro costs approximately $2-$7. Check the Santa Cruz METRO website for the most up-to-date schedules and fares.
Driving
From Highway 1, take the Capitola/Soquel exit and follow Capitola Road towards the coast. Turn onto Wharf Road. Limited metered parking is available near the wharf, with rates around $1.00-$1.50 per hour. Additional parking is available in the Beach & Village Parking Lots behind Capitola City Hall for $0.50 per hour. Be aware that parking in the village has a 3-hour maximum.
