From downtown San Francisco, take the Muni F-Line streetcar directly to Pier 39. The streetcar stops a few blocks from the pier entrance. A single ride costs $3, or $2.50 with a Clipper card or MuniMobile app. Alternatively, several Muni bus lines (8-Bayshore, 30-Stockton, 39-Coit, 47-Van Ness) stop near Pier 39. A day pass for unlimited rides on Muni buses, trains, and streetcars is $5.70 via the MuniMobile app.

If you are already in the Fisherman's Wharf area, Pier 39 is easily accessible by foot. From the intersection of Jefferson Street and Taylor Street, head east along Jefferson Street, then turn left onto The Embarcadero. Pier 39 will be on your right, a short walk away. The walk is mostly flat and takes about 10-15 minutes.
