Public Transport
Amoeba Music is easily accessible via San Francisco's public transportation system. Several Muni bus lines, including the 7 and 71, stop directly in front of the store on Haight Street. The N Judah train also runs parallel to Haight Street; get off at the Carl & Stanyan stop, and it's a short walk downhill to the store. A single ride on Muni costs $3.00 cash, or $2.85 with a Clipper card or the MuniMobile app. A day pass is available for $5.70 via the MuniMobile app.
Walking
Located in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, Amoeba Music is within walking distance of many local attractions. From the intersection of Haight and Ashbury Streets, walk west on Haight Street for a few blocks. Amoeba Music will be on your left at 1855 Haight Street. Be aware of pedestrian traffic and street conditions.
Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber and Lyft provide a convenient way to reach Amoeba Music. From downtown San Francisco, a taxi ride to Amoeba Music typically costs between $10 and $13. Ride-sharing fares vary depending on demand and traffic conditions. Taxi fares are $4.15 for the first 1/5 mile, and $0.65 for each additional 1/5 mile. Parking
Street parking is available around Amoeba Music, but it can be limited, and restrictions may apply. Amoeba Music validates parking for one hour at the Kezar Stadium lot at Stanyan St. & Beulah St with a purchase. Be careful to look for tow-away zones and other parking restrictions. Hourly parking rates in nearby garages typically range from $2 to $4.
