After approximately 20-30 minutes, get off at the 'Haight St & Buena Vista Park' stop. Once you disembark, walk a short distance northeast to Buena Vista Park, located at the intersection of Buena Vista and Haight Street.

Public Transit - BART and Bus
From your location in Oakland, head to the nearest BART station (e.g., 12th St/Oakland City Center). Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Alight at the 'Civic Center' station. From Civic Center, exit the station and transfer to the Muni bus. Take the Muni Bus #71 or #43 heading towards 'Haight St & Buena Vista Park'. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at 'Haight St & Buena Vista Park'. Walk a short distance northeast to reach the park.

Walking
If you are near the eastern side of Oakland, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Start from Lake Merritt and walk west along Grand Ave, crossing over to 40th St. Continue straight onto Martin Luther King Jr Way. This will take you through various neighborhoods. Eventually, you will reach the western side of the city and can catch a public bus or continue walking towards the park, which is located a few miles away. Note that this is a longer option and may take over an hour.
