Union Square is centrally located and easily accessible on foot from many nearby attractions. From the Powell Street BART station, walk north along Powell Street for two blocks. The square will be on your left. Walking from Chinatown, head southwest on Grant Avenue towards Market Street, then turn left onto Geary Street. Union Square will be on your right. No cost for walking.
