BART
To get to the Flatiron Building at 1 Sutter St, San Francisco, start by locating the nearest BART station in Oakland. The 12th Street Oakland City Center BART station is a convenient choice. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to the 'Embarcadero' station in San Francisco. Board a train heading towards the direction of San Francisco International Airport. After about 20 minutes, you will arrive at the Embarcadero station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to the Market Street exit. Once outside, walk along Market Street towards the Ferry Building. After about 10 minutes of walking, turn left onto Spear Street, then right onto Sutter Street. The Flatiron Building will be on your left at 1 Sutter St.
Bus
From downtown Oakland, head to the nearest bus stop and take the AC Transit bus line 72 or 72M towards San Francisco. Make sure to check the schedule for the next bus as service can vary. Stay on the bus for approximately 25-30 minutes until you reach the 'Market St & 1st St' stop in San Francisco. Once you get off, walk towards Sutter Street. Turn left on Sutter Street and walk for about 5 minutes. The Flatiron Building will be on your right at 1 Sutter St.

Start by heading to the Jack London Square Ferry Terminal in Oakland. You can either walk or take a bus to get there. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to San Francisco. The ferry ride will take approximately 25 minutes. Once you arrive at the San Francisco Ferry Building, exit and walk towards Market Street. Turn right on Market Street and continue walking until you reach Sutter Street. Turn left on Sutter Street and walk for about 5 minutes. The Flatiron Building will be on your right at 1 Sutter St.
